Hello, Tashi Delek and Namaste to all,

I am Tenpa Gyaltsen, the principal of Tharlam Manjushree Community School.

At Tharlam Manjushree, we offer both academic education and Buddhist primary and secondary education, including ritual studies. But our aim is not only theoretical. We are deeply committed to helping our students practice loving-kindness, inner peace, mindfulness, compassion toward all sentient beings, and non-violence in their daily lives.

We believe that education is not just about marks or numbers—it is about growing in selflessness, egolessness, and generosity, learning to understand the suffering of others, and discovering how to serve both society and all sentient beings.

This journey of building a compassionate and wise community is not possible through our efforts alone. We sincerely invite you to be a part of the Tharlam Manjushree family. Together, we can create a space where loving-kindness and wisdom walk hand in hand—a school that plants the seeds of peace and non-violence in the world.
