About Us

Tharlam Manjushree Community School is a non-profit monastic school located in Phulbari, Boudha, currently home to 86 students and guided by 10 dedicated teachers. We offer a rare and balanced education that honors spiritual depth and academic excellence.

Vision & Mission

The Mission of Tibetan Children’s Villages (TCV) – an integrated charitable organisation – is to ensure that all Tibetan children under its care receive a sound education, a firm cultural identity and become self-reliant and contributing members of the Tibetan community and the world at large.

Why We Exist

Many of our students come from remote or underserved Himalayan regions, where access to both education and monastic training is limited. At Tharlam Manjushree, they receive a nurturing environment rooted in Buddhist wisdom, discipline, and modern learning—entirely free of cost.
